Tailor-Made Cakes

All tailored cake starts at a minimum of $800 and are meticulously designed from scratch through close communication with Olivia throughout the whole process.

The pricing of each cake can vary significantly and may increase to correspond with the serving size, complexity, and techniques required for each design.

#.1 Email-Inquiry

This is the initial process where you let us know the following:

What type of event is the cake for?
What is the date of your event?
What is the serving size of the cake?
Are there any allergies or dietary restrictions we should be aware of?
What is the overall style of the cake that you are looking for?

Please send us any inspiration photos (e.g. photos of the event venue, decorations, colour schemes, textures, floral arrangements, etc.) that you believe will help communicate to Olivia the vision for your cake. As a kind note, we do not replicate cakes designed by other artists out of respect for their creations.

As a cake studio that operates at a low volume to maintain high quality and standards, we do encourage you to contact us as soon as your event date is determined. Typically, we recommend you to begin the cake booking process 2 – 4 months prior to your event date to ensure that we can accommodate your order.

#.2: Initial Quote

Once we receive your e-mail inquiry, we will usually respond within 2 business days with an initial quote for your cake (please note that this quote is an estimate and may be different from the final price of your cake based on any adjustments made to the design). If the initial quote is acceptable, please respond to our e-mail to confirm that you would like to proceed with setting up a consultation meeting with Olivia.

#.3: Consultation & Tasting

After receiving your confirmation from step 2, we will provide you with a sketch of the initial design and ask for your availability to schedule either an online or a face-to-face consultation meeting. This is also a great opportunity to book a tasting along with an in-person meeting so that you can get a sense of what the final cake will taste like. There is a $60 tasting fee which will be reimbursed and credited towards the final cost of your cake should you decide to move forward with ordering the cake from us. You are able to pick four flavours out of the eight listed flavours for the tasting session, please see our Flavour List.

#.4: Booking

After the consultation meeting, we will send you a sketch of the final design for your cake, as well as, the final cost. Your date is secured once you have confirmed that you would like to proceed to book the cake and only when a deposit of 50% of the final cost of the cake has been paid. Once we receive the deposit, we will provide you an e-mail confirmation of your booking along with the invoice.

#.5: Execution & Delivery

Two weeks prior to the event, we will confirm your delivery time window and the contact person upon delivery, as well as, a friendly reminder to pay the outstanding balance of the cake. Rest assured that we WILL have your cake ready on your big day.
